The opportunity to pass on knowledge and experience is incredibly rewarding. Since my own earliest experiences, I enjoyed working with fellow up and coming players trying to help each other improve. After gaining more performing and competing credentials, it has been a pleasure to serve in a more formal capacity as an instructor of others. Teaching has been as much a part of piping career as playing the pipes themselves.

Modern technology allows me to study at a distance with my mentor in Scotland, and provides the same opportunity for me to teach my own students regardless of location.  I am currently available to teach lessons via Skype, FaceTime, and Google Hangouts, and of course in person if you live in the Chicago Area.

Lessons are available on either a weekly or biweekly basis.  The right choice of track is dependent on a number of factors such as our schedules, and student-specific circumstances including time available for personal practice along with general motivation and goals.
